Located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city in New South Wales. Wagga Wagga provides all the relevant services of a city such as shopping, hospitals etc. It is also an easy day trip to the Snowy Mountains in the east and Griffith in the west, which is one of New South Wales' biggest wine producing regions and a popular place for backpackers to find some fruit picking work.
