Overview
Located 43 miles (69km) west of Seoul, Incheon International Airport is the primary airport for South Korea. Built in 2001, the modern and stylish airport is an award-winning facility with a wealth of shopping and plenty of entertainment options, including a spa, casino and golf course. The airport is easy to navigate and queues are handled in an efficient and orderly fashion.

Flights to Seoul Incheon International Airport are available from destinations all over the world, including cities like Moscow, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Dubai and Singapore. A hub for both Porean Air and Asiana Airlines, there are numerous routes around Asia as well.

Though Seoul Incheon International Airport is located far from the centre of the city, efficient public transport options make getting into Seoul from the airport simple and inexpensive.

Location
The airport is located 30 miles (50km) from central Seoul at Incheon.

Getting to the city
An express railway connection is in the final stages of completion and currently operates between Gimpo Airport (which handles domestic flights) and Incheon International. It will reach Seoul central by 2010. Meanwhile, visitors can transfer to the city along the Airport Expressway by public or courtesy bus, or a variety of taxis, from the airport Transportation Centre. The journey takes about an hour and a half. Tickets and information can be obtained from the Bus Ticketing Office at Exits 4 and 9 (indoors) and Exits 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, and 9C (outdoors). There is also a ferry service from Incheon port to Yeongjong-do.
