Located on the Fitzroy River, Fitzroy Crossing is a remote outback town and a pit stop between Broome and Darwin. The town is a great base to explore several national parks in the region including Tunnel Creek National Park, Windjana Gorge National Park and Geikie Gorge National Park.

Being a small town you will find a limited range of services, facilities and places to eat and drink.

Fitzroy Crossing Highlights

See the ancient barrier reef system, impressive limestone gorge, natural water pools, fruit bats, freshwater crocodiles and bird life at Windjana Gorge National Park.

Walk all the way from one side to the other of the spectacular Tunnel Creek cave. Along the way you will come across permanent pools of water, stalactites and maybe bats.
